A bit of advice please?

My friend's dog groomer has started flipping his jars upside down just in his last few mushie generations because it speeds colonization of the bottom of the jar. But he is wondering if

A) the water condensing on the bottom (now the top) of the jar and dripping into the uncolonized substrate will be harmful to his friends or if they will just drink it.

B) if his little friends are getting enough O2

Everything is OK. Flipping the jars does no harm, and if it does it is negligable(sp?). The water will just be absorbed, but if it begins to form large yellowish pools in the jar, then you should be worried.
