Take care

i did some research in the forums and found many recommendations for and against the B+ strain. the main complaint seemed to be that the yields were inconsistent or lower than avg. for experienced growers. really it comes down to a matter of preference, but i picked up a couple of syringes of pink buffalo instead of B+.

The best deterrent for contams is sterile procedures. As long as you do your teks right, you won't need to find a strain that "resists contams". I'm not really sure that there is any cubies out there that fight off contams any better than others, despite what you hear. The only differences may be colonization times and the look of the fruits. IME I have not found one strain that is much better than another unless you start getting into Pan's. I just know that when my sterile procedures are half-assed is when I have problems. Lysol, gloves, mask, anything that can help you be a little more clean the better. Flip a coin, throw a dart, pick a cubie.

B+ originally got it's name because it produced Big shrooms. I have never had problems with B+ yields. There are many factors that affect the yields. Make sure you start with a good syringe/print from a sponsor. They tend to get their mushroom spores from the best cultures. Then, if you use a good substrate (plenty of ideas here on the Shroomery) and do what you are supposed to do, you will get good results.

yah my only complaint about the B+ is what seems like a slow fruiting time for me.  But, im not running a fancy FC like a martha or a PMP, just plain perlite.  Could be why things are slow, tasty shrooms tho got to try em out this sat.

Well If I was to pick one, I'd start with Ecuador's, I just though in B+ because most people start their. Their both slow colonizers (compared to some others) so you'll get to see the mycelium growing.
Take care
