questions

well this is my first time growing, and so far its been takin longer than expected. right now i have about 2 jars that are doin well. i followed the PF tek to the tee. now heres the dilema im faced with. first off, 8 out of my 10 jars have been found to be contaminated so obviously i did something majorly wrong. can anyone out there offer me some tips or stories (other than the obvious) of what they do when innoculating/growing to prevent contamination??? also....the jar of mine that is doin well seems to be fully colonized, and has been for a few weeks now, however there is no pinning. i looked at it yesterday and found that it is turning blue, and im like what the hell. i havent touched the actual cake or anything, as it is still in the jar. im just curious as to what is causing the blue, and what i should do? is it time to birth that cake, or should i just start again seeing has how my first attempt seems to be 80% failure so far. if anyone can offer any tips they would be greatly appreciated.

Well HOLY SHIT man!.....What the hell are you waiting for?
Ok yelling is done.....sorry....I just hate to see abuse done to children. what I mean by that is.......you said your one jar has been 100% colo. for a few weeks, and you still havn't birthed it. Really sorry man....I get all emotional when I see abuse going on ;)
Anyway the most popular answer to your one jar being blue is to.........(drum roll :).........BIRTH IT!
It's long over due.

P.S. When it comes down to it, you have togo and rethink all your steps through. No matter what anyone tells you, on how to do things(assuming you already know), your still going to have to find out where you went wrong/ or where the contamination came from.
