Eh, I dont really feel like sanatizing my bathroom for an hour everytime I want to inoc. Been there done that. Its a pain. Guess I am disgusting. I just never think its good enough. seems like the bathroom is a sesspool of bacteria. But seems to work for others. Go figure.

Well to anwser your question.
Yes, it'll work.
But.....How will you go about sanatizing yourself?...
I figure that if you did it all quickly and moved slow (slow air movement in there) then it'd be worth all that time.
I wouldn't use it for knocking up jars lol, jars really don't need all the sterility IME, I'd use it more so for Agar, things like that....Grain to grains ect ect.

Hey. I started by doing all my inoculating in my glovebox, had great results.
Now, I do it open air. Have had just as good results as using my glovebox. Tent for inoculating seems a little too much to me.
I think the idea is to use all the sterile procedures when needed, and to do what's needed in certain situations. Make your life easier. Certain situations require all the sterility you can get, while others don't. I've lost 6 quart jars WBS doing open air inoculating out of over 100. And those 6 I waited about 5 days to inoculate after PC'ing , really think that had more to do with it then anything.

I supose if someone was constantly getting contams it be a good idea, and before you go in have a really good shower with anti bacterial soap and wear as little as your privacy of your home allows

I don't know about you but my tents get moldy fast. In theory I suppose it could work, nice bleach bath possibly followed by a lot of Lysol, but you shouldn't have to go to that extreme. Plus it would be outside right? It's hard to sanitize all outdoors

anybody remember those scooby-doo tents your "well off" friends had growin up.you know those kiddy tents. how bout using those instead of a martha for fruiting.more room more casings.
