They finally came round on wednesday to install the cable modem. They gave me the wrong modem. Now I have to wait for them to send the correct one now. :mad2:

At least you can get NTL in your street. The cable runs straight past my road. :sad:

something that shocked me was the fact that in a town with a population of 100k,
I couldnt get DSL in my neighborhood, I live in a town with 700 people now and
I have cable and DSL available...

I'm on NTL.

Make sure you set your modem to auto re-connect on disconnection cos the service cuts out regularly :crazy:
