Mycelium help
    #4446038 - 07/24/05 07:16 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

Okay here is the deal i need some advice here to see if im on right track... thursday night i noticed yellow in the mycelium well i now know it was piss.. but before that i knew i had taken a water spray bottle and used 10% hydroperoxide and 90% water.. i sprayed the myc twice thinking the yellow was contam.. after i sprayed it kinda melted or shrunk away.. this myc is still colonizing its not more then 50% covered... then i was having temp problems.. after all that i kept temps to 80 . and i did a couple posts .. peeps were saying that it will come back.. one guy said to scrape the mycelium which didnt sound good but then i thought if i scraped were there is no mycelium colonized may help it so this morning i grabbed lysol and sprayed the room down waited 5 minutes gloved up and got a fork and lightly scraped around the uncolonized parts and alittle on the really yellowed areas to help the myc re generate ... what is anyones take on this or if some one can give advice please help.. i wanna know if im doomed here? or if i need to wait a week for anything to happened? or if i should raise temps to 84 or more humidity/water or more air?

Leave em alone and let them do their thing if you haven't already doomed them. :mushroom2:

Are u talkin about casings here?

If so then you need to keep it moist but only with very light mistings.

If your doing a casing have a read of this
