 Extreme, extreme slowness... please help a first timer

Hello. This is my first time posting, although I've been lurking for many months. I have read most of the posts and searched the archives, and I just can't figure out what's going on with our Golden Teacher cases. Our jars were a long time incubating, but once we cased our mycelium (using vermiculite/coco coir) we saw surface activity almost immediately. We dropped the temperature to around 73 degrees (depending on time of day) and we can see rhizo action developing, and what appear to be little dots that we think might be pins, but it's been nearly two weeks and the growth is absolutely minimal. We've kept them under light and air them out very regularly, and we just have no clue where we're going wrong. Pictures attached, any guidance at all would be great. Very frustrated.

You have alittle overlay so first off patch that and mist those areas. What kind of light are you using? How much light/dark? I have had some that took 2 weeks to pin before. I am fairly new to this but it has come almost natural to me. I will help though.

looks like its shrinkin already even thou no shroom grow has occured, have u been keepin it moist enough?
I cant see any knots or pins on the pics, are all fruitin condtions close to optimal?
Ive suspect youve already read this but if u havent its a good read.

thanks for the help. we have been spraying about once a day, fanning several times a day. should we increase the frequency/amount of water? we usually do it until it glistens, or thereabouts. i only posted pictures of two trays, we have five going, and they're all in about the same condition. the knots start out small, kind of like pimples, right? they are still growing, just very very slowly. also, is it possible we're giving them too much light?
Appreciate your quick replies, you guys are lifesavers (well, maybe not lifesavers, but definitely casingsavers  )

Well it looks dry and if your spraying every day then something needs to be fixed. You need to keep the humidity in the grow chamber higher if it is drying that fast. 
Spray till the coir looks moist or like wet coffee grounds

it's the f'n colorado heat these days, we just can't seem to keep them humid enough, even indoors. is too much water a concern, short of developing mold?

Yea I'm assuming it's in a terrarium with some perlite? I only ask because I didn't see that in either pic, if it's not, theirs your problem, if it is, well then I'm guessing it just wasn't set up well in the beginning (don't worry it happens) moisture wise and now it's being a pain.

Those casings look dry. How are you providing humidification?

what kind of fruiting chamber are you using?
those casings are too dry looking!~
keep the casing layer MOIST.
what is the humidity in your fruiting chamber?
GT's don't do well in high heat...I just did an experiment with some GT's in high heat...they sucked!~
Keep your temps in the 73 to 78 degree F. range if possible.

Thanks so much for the concern We haven't been using perlite or anything similar, the setup we have is just two tubs, one inside the other, with ice in the bottom one. We spray often, and there is a lot of condensation on the lid every morning. Maybe the moisture in the air isn't translating to moisture in the casing? How much misting is going to be harmful to the casing?

do you have a hygrometer?
what is the humidity level inside your fruiting chamber?
ice in the bottom eh?
are you having a heat wave in your area?
misting isn't going to be harmful as long as you don't over saturate your casing layer.
you need to keep it MOIST...don't drowned it.
