Copelandia cyanescens finds Please help ID
    #4442565 - 07/23/05 01:24 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Hey all went on yet another hunt this morning and to my surprise I found some nice Copelandia cyanescens,
But it seems I have found two strains.
One has a thin stem and a large cap.Where the other has a thick stem and a small cap.
Both bruise a nice blue.. Here are some pics..
Both were found growing in the shade on cow poo.. The tall thin stems blued a lil at the ball on the base. But the thick stem small cap bruised a nice blue on the stem..
Here are the pics..

Look at how blue all them Cop's are! Oh My God! Look at all them blue pins!
Yezzup
I will post more pics in a lil bit I used my Shroomery Space for the day! LOL

yea that be them chronic mushrooms haha i love copes, alot of the ones i pick seem to be disproportionate but those look like really good strains oh as for the thinner stems im not sure because the pic wont get bigger when i click it but i think i have seen those on my field and i usually dont pick them, is the stem kinda redish?

Yep the thin stems have a tinge of rust. But by the Description I have seen the rust stem is a normal trade on them also.. But them thick suckas are lookin mighty fine.. The thin rust stem has a blue tinge also seen on the next to last pic I think.. Oh well.

Thanks!

I have been looking at this pic and I think I see a thick stem and a thin stem... Look at the one the hand is holding and the size and color or the stem...
Then look at the pic and you can see some of the small cap's have a thick stem...

Things that make you go HMMMMM!

Nope its not just you but the Cube Pins Round here are Fat and Plump...
here is a Cube Pin Pic.

I had just pulled a nice phat Cope off that chunk of Dung and I rolled it over in my hand and almost fell over.. I'm so glad I snaped that pic.. The color on the pic is the same as it looked in my hand..
The copes have a tan center that comes from the tan pin head.

Awesome just plane ol flat out awesome!
