Do you reccomend I do cakes and case them or just leave them be?

Casing > cakes always

I am also growing for the first time. If you're bold, you can take some of your jars and try a casing, while leaving the others to grow from the cakes.  It's up to you, but IMHO I would try the cakes first, simply because you learn from you're mistakes and you'll have a better chance at a fruitful patch if you've started ground up .

From what I've read so far it's pretty high if you don't know what you're doing.  Read some teks and FAQs on sterilization techniques, as well as the casing teks until you can pretty much run through the process in your head.  Let me know how they turn out because my next big move is to casing

If you wanted to try it, and it's your first grow, let the cakes be cakes, and after a few flushes dunk them again (since you dunked them already after their birthday), then crumble them, and case them to something with a lot of nutrients like poo.
Take care

Case them, trust me..It's not as hard as one might think....I hated cakes! They never did a thing for me.But when I cased them it was a different story

Look here..And I was just goof'n off!
