cinamon biscits
    #4440282 - 07/22/05 11:44 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

these are easy and yummy and good for po' folk like me

ingredients:
1 can regular pilsbury (or whoever) biscits. Don't get any special kind, just the regular little biscits
brown sugar
regular sugar
ground cinamin
pecans
honey

directions:
preheat over to whatever the biscit can says

pour about 1/4 cup granulated sugar in a small tupperware bowl. sprinkle liberally with ground cinamon and shake. this will make cinamon-sugar.

butter a glass pie dish (or small glass casserole).

take a biscit, gently stretch and flatten it so it's about double it's original diameter.

take a pinch of brown sugar and sprinkle it on the top of the flattened biscit, kinda rub it in. then drizzle a bit of honey over it, works best to use a zig-zag pattern. take the cinamon sugar and pour a little line down the middle of the biscit.

fold the bisict kinda like a taco, with the cimamon-sugar as the 'filling'. pinch the 'taco' together at the top. let the ends be open

do this for each biscit.

arrange biscits in pan, arrange so they're touching each other.

crunch pecans just enough to break them in like qaurters. spray them with butter pam or use spray butrer. Toss them in the remaining cinamon sugar. sprinkle tops of the biscits with coated pecans. sprinkle a bit more cinamon sugar too.

Bake until it looks like the biscits are just about done.

KEEP YOUR EYE ON THEM for this next step! Turn the oven to broil, and let biscits finish up (1-2 minutes!!) this also crisps up the candied pecans.

once they're done let cool for like 5 minutes, then serve hot.

if you want, drizzle more honey, but they'll probably be perfect just like this

yummy.
