Experimental fishtank tek

I have: - a big fishtank - Horsepoo - Spores - water heater (heats up to 32 celsius / 89 fahrenheit) - air bubbler
I want simple mushroom cultivation. I am challenged cause I am struggling with the language you mushroom natives seem to converse with ease.
I am creating mushroom barges that float on top of the water with islands of dung. The barges have gaps for moisture to come through the bottom.
I want the humidity and warmth to come from the water being heated below.
Do you think it will work if I pastuerize the poo and mix with spores and sit it on the floating island? Keep it dark for 3-5 days while the myc network makes a home and shows itself? When the pins start to reveal themselves add a casing layer like vermiculite and feed it with a bit of light?
Is this just being silly or can you help me make this work?

Whats the best way to inoculate horse poo with spores? I have the spore prints in an airtight container on paper. I don't have a syringe. Can I just get the paper and mix it with water and combine it with the poo and then pastuerize it?
Please forgive me for my stupidity as I learn the ways of the shroom.

No u cant, u need to follow one of the teks, once u have a jar colinised then u can spawn it to poo, agian followin one of the poo teks. Otherwise your chances of success will be very slim.
I could go on and on how to do it properly but when its all covered in the teks there is no need. I have had some good success folliwin the PF tek on my first grow, havent tried poo yet but its only a small step up. Spend a lil time readin and most of ya questions will be answered. Any other specifics ppl will gladly help u out.
Good luck with it all.

http://www.shroomery.org/glossary.php That will help you with our "language"..
You cant just mix spores with hpoo, theres a 99.9%chance it will not work. You need to first inoculate some grains, or cakes then use that to spawn to your pasturized hpoo. I feel that you need to do some more readin.... http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/3
Take care n be safe....

Wicked - Thanks for the help so far. I'm looking into colonizing now. I have oats and barley - will these grains do the trick?

This glossary is awesome, thanks ultralight. You are right - I need to read more but without this glossary it doesn't matter how much I read if I don't know what the words mean
Cheers.

I have had 100 percent sucess rate (begineers luck most likely) with colonizing horse poo with only spores, well when i recieved my syringe from a vendor it had myc growing in the syringe, and yes it came from a vendor. I just simply injected about 3 cc directly on the hpoo then mixed it all around. Kept at a constant 80 degrees for two weeks and it completly colonized. Maybe it will work for you also, I have no clue, but if you have some extra hpoo and an extra syringe as I did, its worth the try.

I'm all for experimenting, but i already know that spores don't like to germinate on manure based substrate. if you are looking for a shortcut, try liquid culture. G/L

Thanks for the encouragement to experiment while also having an understanding of what has been previously successful.
Mushrooms I picked about 6 months ago I stored in Raw Honey. I still have the honey and have some in my herbal tea now and then for a little etheric enhancement.
On the surface of the honey and in the lid of the jar there is what seems to me a culture that is living. Raw honey (it hasn't been heated and therefor it still has its natural medicine alive and kicking) - i'm wondering if its possible that culture is alive and well in this jar...
Do you think it would work if I mixed in a teaspoon of this honey with the poo?
