order of mixing verm/brf/water?

this is my second time through. using PF tek with MMGG ratios (2/3 C. Verm, 1/4 C. brf, 1/4 C. water). I read on this forum somewhere that it works better if you wet the verm first then add the brf so's to get each verm particle coated with brf to create a nice little growing packet for the shrooms (with brf and water readily available). But I sterilized my jars and innoculated (innoc. yesterday). My jars look really dry. Was this misinformation?

I did the same thing as you for the first time except I used 1/3 cup water and it still looks dry. I'm thinking that with this PF tek variation you could jam a whole 1/2 cup of water in there.
I'm sure its fine though, I mean the water cant just disapear.

i always would pour in the verm, then the brf and ix that up real good then add water and mix again. you might have lost some moisture while pressure cooking? how'd they look before they went in?

i prefer mixing the powders first to get a nice even mixture then i add the water and stir it all up, making sure there are no dry spots.
