Some nature pics...

Hey guys, here are two pics I did today outside of my house, the first is a chalk pastel drawing of my frontyard, the second is a photograph I took and manipulated from the tree in the first sketch- give me your thoughts-

Wow, that sketch is awesome! You have a serious talent there! I'd love to be able to draw/paint/sketch but I have never had any luck with it. I do a lot of photography though. I'd like to see more of that if you have some.

I'm enrolled at an art school so I get to do a lot of fun stuff, here is a linocut print I just did in my printmaking class. the other is a mixed media painting I did last night on cardboard painting.

this is a large print ~ 3' x 4.5'

this is at ~ 2' x 3.5'

I'm just now getting into photo too, the first pic I posted is actually a scanned image of a negative I just developed in the darkroom, the whole process was really fun- it being new to me and all.
