I am an experienced tripper, and have never had a problem with nausea after ingesting shrooms (up to 8 dried grams). However, everytime my friend (a fairly experienced tripper) takes mushrooms he spends about 30 to 45 minutes laying on the couch in extreme stomach discomfort. He often feels like puking but never has. Does anyone have any advise on relieving stomach pain after ingestion?

Just go with it. It's a part of tripping for some and it's over soon enough. I once spent 2 hours of a trip lying on my bed thinking I was dying/dead with my eyes closed. Looking back those closed eye visuals were fantastic and I got a lot of personal work done.

yeah that happened to my friend once as well his very first time... he eventually just got over it by lying down and listening to happy music

It's easy three things u have to do........go to a healthfood/vitamin shop......buy the best (most expencive) ginger extract and eat about twice the amount recomended 20 minutes before the shrooms.......also fast for around 6 hours before. As soon as u feel nausea smoke a little bit of weed in a bong (dont roll a joint it will make it worse......only use water bong and hold smoke in deep in the lungs and hold 4 as long as possible)

If u do all three, you're unlikely to suffer any longer...... good luck

I've had the same damned problem. First time I ever tripped I dry heaved for 15 minits... i think. But after reading some stuff, I think it was the pizza I ate the litte fuckers on.

I'll hafta try the ginger thing. Try papaya fruit with 'em. That was recommended to me as well.

i use to get nausea before the trip....

but the pasxt few years its been absent except for high dose's and that isnt evn near as uncomfortable is it was the first couple years i think my tummy got5 use to um :)

The worst "nausea" I ever felt was the last time I took mushies. For about 30 mins I had some discomfort. But it was nothing bad, nothing that I would complain too much about. I just thought, yea, my stomach is bothering me. Thats about it. Maybe Im just lucky

Any nausea I get tends to be 3 hours after ingestion. Weird as hell, but its more like a queasy stomach than dizziness or puking. Odd.

Thanks for the tips, I will let him know, and hopefully he will not have to lay on the couch in pain for a good hour of his trip.

when you are feeling nausea just find a cold place and lay in the grass. spread out and look at the clouds stars or whatever. not only will you trip but your nausea will go away never failed for me...not even on a bad trip
