Hey guys sorry about the lame ? but i have another. Im just about to start my jars. As this being my first grow im doing 20 half pints and keeping them as cakes. I am also doing 10 pint jars and going to use them to case. I feel the best way from reading im going to get the tennstud 10 LB bag of 50/50 and spawn then case. So i will have 2 tubs spwan then case them. The question I have is what whould i get out of each tub "around dry weight". If things go good that is. Thanks and sorry if this is a lame ?

Your to worried about wieght i see. Just go with the flow and experiment, there are way too many varibles to give you even a remotly close dry wieght. Just do it and see for yourself what the weight is.

Hi hotshot,

remember the old saying, don't count your chickens before they hatch!

If you are good you get around a pound wet for a pound of poo but since it is your first time don't count on it. Plus you can't factor out contaminations

There are just to many condition variables to give you any concise answer.

So, you might get none, a few, some or a lot. I don't mean to sound like a smart ass - either.

The definition of biological efficiency in mushroom cultivation is:
1000 grams fresh weight from 1000 grams dry Substrate is 100% biological efficiency.

This definition was first used by the Agaricus industry to be able to compare different grow setups and Substrate compositions.

Note that this is not a true efficiency in thermodynamical terms.
Psilocybe cubensis is easily somewhere in the range of 200% BE.under optimal conditions, I might add.

There are too many factors to get an accurate number. Why does everyone ask this question, sorry this isn't specifically directed to you but a lot of people feel the need to ask this question all the time. you get what you get.
