Sorry, second question in 1 day............
I really liked the ease of using popcorn, but the fruits were relatively small although plentiful. (Not yet tried toc check potency)
My question is, if I use one of the Poo teks, can I just fruit in a teratarium indoors, just as I had done with verm/coir tek? And, will this improve the size of the fruits?
Is it as easy as it looks?

a terrarium indoors with casings? yea I've heard of that. and yea as a general rule, poo is a better fruitier, and yea...it's pretty easy once you know the general this goes their, then that happens sorta things,

haha, it's a personal preference but I'd say horse fields. Ask permission first though! But you need to pasteurize it.

get your horse poo from a local farm.
get aged horse poo...not fresh stuff.
you will get larger and more potent fruits from growing off of horse poo.

So all I do is get aged (how aged?) horse poo, mix with water, ensure there are not any lumps, do the squeeze test (Couple of drops drip when squeezed)pasturise by simmering in a bag for 2 hours, then put in a tray with popcorn?
Do you sandwich the corn, or just stir together with a spoon?
Then fruit in a terratarium as per usual..........Is this right?

It should be aged and dried to the point that the nuggests look fiberous and not fresh, and dried, and when you break them open, or hydrate the nugs of poo, theres no ammonia or piss or shit smell. You do not "simmer" for 2 hours. Its very important you monitor the temps of the water and keep them between 165-175, this is well below simmering. Then dump it into a tray, mix in 10-20% (20% is better) colonized spawn (popcorn works), make sure theres no lumps of poo or grain, and everything is mixed evenly and well, then cover with saran wrap or tin foil (poke holes in the covering) and incubate at room temperature (poo will generate alot of heat, so dont let it get above 80 in the room its in, if the casing is larger, keep it even cooler, 70-75 is usually perfect). Then when that turns into a fully white solid colonized brick, you put your casing mix on top. Coir/verm works, but IMO, peat/verm/buffer works the best. When its popping through the casing layer, fruit as usual.

With all due respect to Roadkill, I use fresh poo that I cure in the sun until it is completely dry, breaking it up as it dries to make it dry faster. It looks and smells like composted straw once dry. I rehydrate and pasteurize the dried poo when I'm ready to spawn. I mix the spawn in the drained, cooled poo, cover with foil with a few air holes, and place in the incubator until the poo is completely colonized. Then I case it with 60/40 verm/coco + ag lime, place back in the incubator until myc start appearing in several places. Then I remove the foil, and place the pan in the fruiting chamber, misting as needed until pinning and fruiting, normally about a week or so later.

Is horse poo that much greater than cow poo? I went away for a while and now im back browsing and everyone and their mom is hardcore into horse poo. Its even being called HPOO by elite growers, its that common place.
Im left here fuckin watching my cock get smaller because I dont know exactly why horse poo is superior.

Since you dry fresh stuff - bone dry - it isn't aged. But - same difference.
Drying just gets rid of ammonia, bug eggs, larva & decreases almost all microbial activity. IMHO, aged is a bit better, as it has gone through the same cycle - just naturally, with some rainfall involved (leaching) & over a bit more time in the weather.
No matter which way, so long as it works, it's all good.

i don't believe horse manure is any better then cow manure.
the difference is the ease of preparation, with horse poo there is no need to add straw.
and, a lot of people are saying that straw is contaminant prone. i think that is misinformation.
straw when used alone is usually spent after the first or second flush.
but, properly composted w/ cow manure, it works grate. it just takes more time and effort.

in my opinion horse poop seems to be better then cow poo cause cows have 4 stomachs thus the poo the comes out is completely dehydrated of minerals and proteins

Thanks for the tips. I got lots of horse poo. Around here farmers sell a 20kg bag for $2 on the side of the road. One day I would like to buy all the horse poo and make a big horse poo backyard. Mix in the buckets of spawn with a giant shovel and role around naked in my psychedelic field. Occasionally opening my mouth to take another gulp of the little mind altering friends. Not too much though cause I wouldn't want to fill my mouth with poo.
Horse poo is definately easier to handle - each dollop of it fits nicely into one hand.
