subbs past their prime

these were found on an old cow dung/staw heap.


the small dry ones are hard to identify... :crazy: i think that i'll throw them out unless someone can reassure me.

while i was hunting, the farmer saw me and took a picture, when i wasen't looking. he asked what i was doing. i told him "looking for mushrooms". he said that i should look for them in horse manure instead.  :smile:

I can still find them, just look in areas that get less sun and stay moist more often. I just found a large patch in a really unlikely place.

EDIT: a few look active, but none look edible. If your 100% sure that big one is a subb i think it would be ok..

i had a bunch of good pan subbs. but i thought they were foes so i threw them ot. they looked like that after a day or two. just hair fine pitch black shrooms. they were funny to show my dad though: "they're dead!!! waaaaaa"
