Syringe making

I made two 10cc syringes last night out of a spore print about 2" in diamater. This is the first time making a syringe and was from one of my own prints. I seemd to have a hard time really getting all of the spores off of the index card. I know a general rule is about 1/4 of a print for a syringe but I don't know wether people actually get all of the spores off of their prints so I used 1/2 for each. I could see the spores in the syringe but It wasn't really purple water or anything. Do you think they will be alright? Any tips for next time? I scraped it with a fork.

I scrape with a syringe needle tip. Also, the spores come off of tinfoil very easily, you might like that better than the index card.

Print on tin foil the spores fall off....
