I need some help with Microsoft Access ...
    #4429131 - 07/20/05 06:00 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I need to catalog voting ballots so I set up a simple table with all the candidates names and a yes/no data type. That was all good.

Now I'm making a form from this so I can enter the old ballots. Now here is my dilemma: I want to get the label to show the candidates whole name but when I fit the new label size the check box gets covered and becomes unusable.

So I'm wondering how I can get the check box to move with label so it won't end up getting covered.

Thanks alot

I figured it out it was foolishly stupid, access seems so un user friendly to me, the complete opposite of excel.

Agree. If you get the chance, check out filemaker pro. It is extremly easy to use and fairly powerful.

:yesnod: while i tend to hate these packaged database-app-building-thingies, and much prefer to make my own using mysql/web-based-apps, filemaker pro kicks access' ass, for what it is.
