Hey there shroomerites! It's been a while since i've been on the shroomery, 3 months to be exact. When i left, i remember agar had just come up with this substrate that required no pcing and grew great shrooms. He said it was going to be onsale soon, and since i haven't been in the know, im wondering whats the deal with his project. Thanks for the info!

The seller is not yet a paying vendor here.
So, It's not right to hype the product - YET.
Packing issue may be resolved in the next day or 2.

Read about compost and how good it is for cultivation, you thought poo was good. Then imagine if you could get it so all you had to do was rehydrate and spawn. Something like that I think ?

There ya go! it's basically a substrate you get in a bag, hydrate it, and then inoculate it with no pasteurizing, sterilizing, or boiling.
It's just hydrate and go! Oh, and it's got all the nutes of poo, so potency is huge like growing on poo.
This is all from what I understand about it, of course.

I think this is absolutely amazing! I work with mushrooms as a way to fight world hunger, through utilization of agricultural wastes, and creating zero waste systems in third world countries. The major limiting factor in any commercial business is the amount of substrate that it can process. Imagine if the substrate does not have to be processed! That would mean an almost unlimited supply of food for poor and/or hungry people of the world. Mushrooms are the very cutting edge of medicine, with new uses and useful compounds isolated at an amazing pace. Nutritionally the mushrooms produced on this substrate should be optimal, so this could be a major advance in the fight against world hunger! Agar, I wish I was on the committee to nominate people for the Nobel, this may really be something that can help changer the world. Thank you for working so hard to do this for people. seriously im very impressed. i just read all 17 pages of that original topic and i really would love to learn more. if this kind of shit could be my career, i'd be in school for it right now. well it could...but i can't afford school for it. but im interested.

I hear its supposed to be cheaper then TN Stud....whatever the price, I'm sure it will be a mighty fair one. He hasnt been on much recently, more and more, I take this as a good sign hes geting close. I believe he'd rather just make sure everything is setup right and correctly before he sets it into motion..something learned from mushroom growing? Well I keep checking the site hoping for some updates, so very anxiously.

I'm just wondering what the other vendors out there are thinking. When this stuff hits the market, who will want Tenn Stud or Mike O's PF Jars? This is great for us, but those poor guys

who cares about those guys making money, they should be in it to supply people with quality substrate, and they should be happy if people allready have it, even if it's from another company.
also im more intested in the fact that this could actually help world hunger if only in some small ammount. this is freaking revolutionary

I don't really care myself about the money they make. Doesn't really affect me any. I'm sure they will be thrilled when someone gets it from another company that will eventually put them out of business.  All I'm saying is that these guys have helped to support this site by paying advertising costs and it would be sad to see them go.
