Um, excuse me but we're missing a very basic point. And that is, stealing is wrong. Not only that, but it's against the law. And we wouldn't want to break the law, would we?

pusles right
but
you wouldent get in trouble for this.
you could just say that you forgot.
its THEIR fault for not seeing it.
when i used to steal
i would go to a big department store
and just causually walk out with things.
not trying to hide them.
just walk out.
one time i filled up an entire shopping cart full of stuff and strolled out the door.
if they ever caught me, i would just say that i forgot to pay for it.
i would never do it when i didt have enough money in my pocket to cover it.
never got caught tho.
since then ive realized that there is no need to steal anything unless i have to. (starving)
but, if i saw a million dollars in cash sitting in someones unlocked car i would take half of it. sorry.

Good point puscle (I'm not sure if you were trying to make it or not). If you're that concerned about a little jail time or whatever, you've got the wrong hobby (judging by the fact that you are here.) I don't reccomend some kid goes out and tries stealing a drip sheild, but I know there are some very skilled thieves who could easily make use of this suggestion without a second thought, or too much paranoia.
omgbeeees: Are you mocking me? ;)
Lallafa, what you said is very true. If they saw it there, they wouldn't think you were stealing it, it's just in the cart or whatever. If they didn't see it, you'd just leave and nobody would know.
I'm like you, I wouldn't steal again unless I needed to.

Mushrooms can equal wrong for people. If you're in America your government sure approves of murder (one was just telivised recently, and americans sure seem to be thirsty for blood these days). Plus, I'm sure there have been instances where murder was, well, somehwat justifiable. Don't paint shit over with such broad strokes.

Lallafa, that's the way to do it. Like the old mystery story about the hidden envelope in plain view on the mantlepiece!
I've taken to using this method quite often recently. Noone working at a store ever believes people would have the balls to walk out with big stuff in plain view!
BTW big corporate stores like HD have HUGE billion dollar budgets set aside just to cover shoplifting. You are not taking anyones profits buy stealing from these stores. Therefore, if the stolen stuff is already paid for, everything must be cool ;)
