Abort Tea...?

I was wondering if anyone had made tea from thier aborts. Is this feasible? I have been saving my aborts from my last grow and letting them dry (room air). I thought, why not go to whole foods and pick up some seeping bags (empty tea bags) and make my own abort tea bags. Would this work? I have heard of people eating thier aborts and getting a good trip when they eat enough...Food For thought!

That would work fine if you had enough aborts. I don't think aborts are any more potent than fully developed fruit bodies, so it would prolly take alot.

A mushroom is a mushroom. Aborts may or may not have more psilocybin, but they are still viable mushrooms nonetheless. Dry them as you would you're normal flush, grind to a powder with a coffee grinder, and drink away with some tea. There is no need to take time separating aborts from the rest of the pack.
Making tea bags just seems like a complete waste of time IMO. To each his own I guess.

Grind the shrooms in the grinder. I drink tea all the time if I'm gonna take shrooms, I just add the powder with a tea bag to a cup of microwaved hot water, 2 minutes and bam your done. Let it sit and col and steep for 10 and start to drink..most everything sinks and you can easily drink down what doesnt since its a powder. Then you dont even need to drink it all, in a normal coffee mug of tea, I probably leave the bottom 1/4"-1/2" with the mush. By that time I've been drinking the tea for 15 minutes, its getting colder and gross, and I'm starting to trip nicly. Come on is very very quick and kick ass from there with very little stomach problems, if any.

I've found that aborts are just as good as regular shrooms, a lot of the time better, seeing as you don't have to eat as much in total weight. Research has proven this time & time again.
by the way, tea is great. I'm new here, how do you guys get all those awesome pics in your profile---new and coumputer illiterate

I was gonna say I think if you'd been majoring in mycology for 1 year, you would have been a member before this month homie.. let alone 4 years.

Thanks Scat, that sounds like an easy make. Yea I continue to have alot of aborts. It seems like my cakes at least will have a healthy pin set and then about 60% of the pins will abort while the nutrients and water content of the cakes succumb to the vaccume of a few huge shrooms. But I think this is just how it goes with cakes...Thats ok b/c im not ready to do any bulk growing yet. I will try the tea. I think that it hits you quicker because you aren't digesting anything. its almost an extraction of psilocybin/psilocin in itself. Albeit crude' but extraction none the less. Also, most teas are slightly acidic. Coupled with high heat, this could promote psilocybin-->psilocin dephosphorylation. Psilocin is a more psychoactive tryptamine than psilocybin so its no wonder the tea hits you faster. NO DIGESTION, and mabey a bit of invitro psilocin production. The body accomplishes this reaction with an enzyme. I'm interested to know which phosphotase it is....Any ideas?
