There is a major vote on wednesday on whether or not to repeal part of a bill that denys any federal aid for higher education to anybody with a drug conviction.

That means that over 160,000 kids with drug convictions, already having been punished (jail, community service, probation, etc) are being DENIED any federal help to go to school and improve their situation.

This is silly backwards logic.

This is a chance to make a positive difference in many people's lives.
