Simple music question.

How is Led Zeppelin during a trip? They have some psychadelic songs but beside those I'm just curious if their driving hard rock blues stylings work well with mushrooms?

i definately think so, but then i'm a fan of the hard blues-jam/stoner rock kinda thang.

it's either that, or something truely psychedelic like king crimson or secret cheifs 3 for me

hell yeah, zeppelin rocks for tripping. last time i tripped with my friends, we put on zeppelin 2 and it got everyone real happy, especially when it got to 'the lemon song'. i have many good tripping memories with zeppelin in the background.

its not for everyone though. i find that whatever you listen to normally works well for a trip. i mean, i trip to death metal when i'm on my own.

i usually go with the Dead, but the Led arent bad for a trip at all. Kashmir tends to freak me out (even sober haha) and i would not reccomend listening to that on a trip. Going To California, Misty Mountain Hop, In My Time Of Dying, What Is And What Should Never Be....some of the Led really hits me well when tripping, especially In My Time Of Dying.

In the Court of the Crimson King, Lizard, and Larks' Tongues in Aspic, are favorite King Crimson albums for tripping.

Try THRAK or The ConstruKction of Light if you're feeling adventurous; they're extraordinary albums and very unique, and although not necessarily uplifting, amazing to listen to. Still, pretty much anything from King Crimson's discography is good for tripping if you're in the mood for it.

And yeah, Led Zeppelin always puts me in a good mood

I give my 'aye' to the Zeppelin for a trip. "Stairway to Heaven" is awesome, as well as most of their acoustic stuff!

But you want something to absolutley blow you away?

#1. Get a nice, clear and loud sound system.
#2. Put in ACDC Live at Donnington
#3. Try not to shit yourself in amazement.
