Another TB movie made with claymation! Plus it has Jonny Depp.

Frankly I have been extremely unimpressed with him as of late. The new Willy Wonka movie is uninventive, unoriginal, and frankly just boring. His other movies seem to lack any sort of vision. I did enjoy Nightmare before Christmas though, and Eddward Scissorhands was interesting. But he seems like an average director now a days.

That last movie he did with ewan mcgregor was kinda entertaining.. but not what I was hoping for. I like Burton's darker stuff like Batman, scissorhands, and sleepy hollow.

But yea.... planet of the apes BLOWED hard. I have a feeling this was a billpayer that he didn't have much carte blanche (sp?).

Trivia: TIM BURTON directed PEE WEE's big aventure.

Yea I know he directed Pee Wee, which I actually do enjoy a lot. I dont think hes a bad director really, but it seems as of late, he has been putting out pretty poor quality stuff. Maybe I have been watching too much Godard recently.
