Hello, I have a horse field and have my own personal supply of pan subs. I picked about thirty of them today and noticed that some of mushrooms had really tiny little with worms in the gills. Im not sure which ones do and don't will they still be safe to eat or should I make some tea, will that kill them?

I got some black market subs of afoaf last week cos im still waitin for my cubes to grow and they also had a few white worms in the heads, was quite gross, i think they were maggots. I just assumed the person we got them off didnt keep them in the best spot but if u say you have found them right after pickin dunno, anyway i removed all that i could and boiled them up and made tea, was sweet, screw eating worms!
i think youll have more feedback if u posted this in the hunting forum...

I've seen those before.
They smush when you touch em, lol...
I thought it was bacterial growth until I saw em squirming
But slugs are probably one of the worst, just cuz they get it all slimy. I'd perfer holes over slimy anyday

Maggots ... damn I hate maggots. I just sterilized a garbage can that started a nice maggot infestation in my garage
I hit em with a quarter bottle of lysol with bleach and they loved the shit! They would climb up the garbage can wherever i sprayed it. A can of brake cleaner makes quick work of maggots, they will be dead within minutes. Not sure how healthy that would be to spray on something you will ingest, though. I would boil them, but I still don't know if I would have the stomach to eat them
