How long for cooldown?

What time frame do you usually give the jars to cool down after innoculation? 4 hours should be sufficient right?

You mean how long to let them cool after sterilizing? if so the pf tek says several hours. I let mine cool for 24 just to be safe. but that might be overkill

4 hours is fine. Once the jar feels stone cold on the outside, you can innoculate.
