Well for starters, for as long as i can remember i seem to have had this runny problem with me noose, used to get cold and flu like every week or so ... bla bla. well no longer get colds *cough cough* but my nose feeels ever so slightly BLOCKED almost always no mater how hard i try to clear it!!
Went to see a doc once he gave me prescription for some nasal spray ... which didnt help at all....
So anyway, its simply difficult to breath now days, and my noose makes unpleasant hissing sound... to make things more complicated i noticed i forget to breath often, sometimes slow down, sometimes stop all together - at night time, couple of times i woke up to discover that i havent been breathing for some time mintues, maybe
I feel like i might be needing a breathing support
goona go see my doc again, maybe get my noose cleaned or something

I don't really know about the first part, but the waking up thing sounds like sleep apnea (sp?). Definitely go to a doctor.

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought, "He's not human!" Not needing to breathe would be quite an advantage...anyway.
Do you have allergies maybe? That's kind of what it sounds like.

Get a didgeridoo and start blowing! It could help!
You have sleep apnea which is pretty common, but you should see a sleep clinician about that, it could start affecting your life because you'll lose sleep that you may not be aware your losing.
good luck

I always see a professional to get my noose cleaned too.
Maybe a neti pot could help, I've never tried one myself but saltwater works great just alone.

I think you should go to a "sleeping disorder clinic". they know all about this "forgetting to breath" stuff..
me thinks..
Have a nice one!
