I just saw this thing on Worldlink TV. One helluva sheller. Costs less than $50 to build, and does the work of many thousands of dollars worth of industrial machinery.
Why hadn't big business invented one of these yet?
Because big business designs technology for big business, not for the little people. If little people want to benefit from technology, then they need to develop technology for themselves. Why would someone with alot of money want to design something that poor people could afford?
They got enough competition from other rich people, they don't need the poor getting in on the act as well.
