Ryche, help! DB q's

2 Months ago I got 5 ten pound bags of DB compost and 9 rye berry bags. Upon arriving, 2 of the berry bags were already contaminated, and one was mush (over-wet), and so I chucked those and innoculated the other 6. They took a month to colonize, and I spawned the compost as instructed, 2 berry bags for each 10 lb of compost. The three DB tubs have been sitting in the dark for about 3 weeks now. I peeked in, and they show spotty fuzzy growth on the surface (very scattered). The temp is around 80. The surface looks a bit dry, though the walls of the tub have condensation on them.
OK. What now? Do I just wait longer? Should I ventilate them at all? Please help! Also, I would like to say Ryche is a good guy and trustworthy, I don't mean to defame him here, but I'll be so bummed if the DB does not work out. Later, Kit.

I posted it here because I will take anybody's advice. Is the substrate drying a problem? How about air circulation? I am new to crumbling and compost, though a cake veteran, so this is new to me.

Ya all the times before i got good stuff from DB, in fact excellent, but the last time i ordered, every single rye bag was contamed and the 10lb bags didnt work either. Did they change the way they made their stuff or somthing?
