Dream Machine * 1

Anyone have experience with construction and use of a dream machine. Consisting of a turn table, creating spinning/flashing of colored light to put the brain in an alpha pattern.

my dad had this weird thing called the "voyager" it consister of this discman sized unit with buttons and whatnot, which controlled all the variables, headphones, and these sunglass lookin things with a set of multi colored lights on the inside of lens'. the idea is that youput it on different settings before you go to sleep, and it influences your dreams, or sleep patterns, or someshit..i dunno, never used it.

heres a link peeps

i've seen a few devices similar to the voyager..

i've never tried it, but what most of these sleep-glasses do is detect when you go into REM sleep.

then the lights start to flash in whatever pattern you set, and some of them play audio that you record such as you saying "you're dreaming".

the purpose is to tell you when you're dreaming. you have to train yourself to recognize when its happening, and when you do, then you become lucid and proceed to fly around looking the best looking gal you can find and have your way with her.

if you can find a better way to make use of total freedom to do anything you can imagine, then i guess you can do that too.

I was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5987583822&category=80546&rd=1 for help on inducing some wicked dreams, but then I read the disclaimer about not watching it if you have mental health issues. Hmm.

What's the worst could happen if I watch it? I really want to experience some lucid dreams.
