Help a new grower?
    #4409287 - 07/15/05 09:50 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

So, I'm thinking about attempting to grow mushrooms. I havent read everything to read about growing, but im about to get on that. Im looking for a strain that is most easy to cultivate. By most easy, I mean one that fruits very well, and can grow very large. I've grown cannabis(Kali mist and mids) both indoors and out doors, so I have a little bit of growing experience with substances. But, I also understan that different strains produce different effects. if im correct, could anyone reccomend a strain that produces strong visuals, or stronger euphoria? I dont ussually get too euphoric on shrooms, but I've heard of people having very pleasent trips eating different strains and strong visuals eating different strains. so, any help would be great.

A cube is a cube. The differences in strains are not that great, but if I had to make a recommendation it would be EQ (Ecuadorian). This strain is a fairly fast colonizer, produces medium to large fruits, and are wicked for visuals.

The size of your fruit is going to be determined by your growth parameters more than the selected strain. A deep substrate, lots of headroom, relative humidity, and fresh air exchange are all going to aid in size.

You've definitely got some reading to do, but it's well worth the effort.
