I found this stuff just while doing some yard work.
I want to go on a real hunt so bad, but I'm just pressed for time.

Pluteus Cervinus seems to be one of those most common things found in my area during this time of year.

I believe that this is Macrothyphula juncea, which was formerly in the Clavaria genus. It grows straight from wood, usually in conjunction with moss.

I used to know this species, I've collected and identified it years ago but for some reason I can't find my resources and logs of that find. It's like right on the tip of my tongue and I'll know right away when i hear the name. If anyone knows, please fill me in. It grows straight from deciduous wood, and has pores beneath.

I also saw this boxing turtle on the ground up side down, so I flipped it over so that it could walk again.

Box turtle I think, Terrapene genus? Any reptile experts agree?
