noob here. What is the latest that you or your pets have had to wait to see growth after noccing them? :syringe:

Yo space. Inocultating what?

PF style cakes can take a week or 10 days - sometimes.

I am a noob also, but here are my experiences:
PF Tek, Lipa Yai strain, 2 weeks and nothing, discarded and started over.
PF Tek, Tak Mountain strain, 3 weeks and nothing, discarded and tried the last strain in my order.
PF Tek, used Tyvek instead of metal disks & added a tad bit more water than what the recipe called for, Golden Teacher strain, on my sixth day and I already have dime sized spots of mycelium on all 8 jars. (finally)
This is my first try (well third) at growing. I'm not sure what happened on my first two attempts. I just got another order of spores today and knocked up a half dozen jars of WBS with the PE strain. I will let you know how many days until I see growth in them if you would like.

man, either ive got really good luck or youve got really crappy luck... lol, my first time knocking up some jars was about 2 months ago, Z-strain, 20 jars, started seeing mycelium on the 4th day and completely colonized on the 11th day. and no contams on any of the jars.

yer usually see first signs of growth in my BRF jars in 3-4days, takes bout 2 weeks for them to fully colinized around outside. Leave them longer to colinise center of cake to be broken up for casing.
