Fanning, Spraying?

Ok ive glanced over some other teks and read some posts on the board and some ppl fan/spray their terraniums...
Well im using the Simple Cubensis Growing Technique

I just understand it a hell of alot more then the PF tek which i think could be revised to be better worded.

Anyways can someone fully explain to me fanning/spraying?
How often i should do it and how much?
What is the purpose of it?
Gimme the complete rundown please!

Ive found out i wont need to spray since ill be using perlite for humidity..
but do i need to fan?
If so please give full details on it

Yes... You still need to fan, 3 to 4 times a day.

yes what is the definition of fanning in this case?
just open the lid bring a fan over and fan it for a minute or so?

Fanning can be as simple as using the lid or a magazine to exchange the air in your terrarium/container. Your purpose is to remove any CO2 buildup.
Use a 5 - 10% solution of 3% H2O2 to any water you use for spraying or adding to the perlite to cut down on contaminants.
