For anyone who has grown Ecuadors at one time.. have you noticed that they tend to colonize / pin a lot slower than most other strains?

It's been mentioned before. Sometimes they can be stubburn.
I hear it all the time. However don't mistake their slow fruiting cycle for your impations. I was a firm beleaver in those EQ's for a long time. Nice easy strain to work with. Are you casing? If so then how long have they beened cased?
