A coming change?
    #440354 - 10/29/01 06:19 AM (23 years, 1 month ago)

The swift to new dimensions and stuff hadnt been on my mind much lately, but in the last weeks I am serieusly feeling that something is happening. And now I am wondering if its just me going schizo or getting mature, or others also notice at least something.

Something that could have to do with it was my last mushroom trip in which I was seeing 4 dimensional and totally understood it (it was nothing like normal hallus)

The most interesting thing on my lately head is the huge flow of inspirtion of multidimensional art, which i hope to be able to start soon with putting it in reality.
It is very complex

Then there is this weird feeling of the way things will seem in the future, I cant really describe it. Some music brings me the same feeling, and some places to, so it could just be coincedence
It feels a bit enlighted and futuristic, and I like it :).

The most unexplaineble thing is the urge to help others. Not in a way I used to (if that even really occured), but truly want to help people with their problems, and I feel responseble to do that.
There are more things, but these are the most noticeble once.

Funny you mention this...the ancient Mayan calender marks a cataclysmic change that will happen on Oct 31st, 2001. It doesn't say whether it is a good change or bad change, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

You not alone. I feel that something is coming aswell. I feel that I am changing, but not in the pro-social ways you say you are, but quite the opposite.

There are many other changes going on, especially within my thought patterns. Its strange, indeed.

Also noticible: Im more in line with other peoples thought. A lot of times Im finding out I was thinking the exact thing as other people at the same time.
Like (bad exsemple. my memory isnt that good) someone says: "hey, hes wearing a nice coat" then I was thinking the excact thing a scond ago

I've noticed this also....I have a stronger connection with other people's minds.....and often have a second before inkling or full blown realization of what they are thinking and/or about to say.

Thats it exactly, you just suddenly think exactly the same thought, feel the same feeling, or say the same words. I guess if you think about it its bound to happen from time to time, but then its more than just that, theres just something really strange about it that i cant describe, i mean sometimes its verging on scary. It would be pretty cool to hear more about this from people, this is getting to be a really good thread.

Peace

there must be a huge shift happening in the not so distant future, things cant keep going the way they are for much longer. i hope its a mass realization that we can live in harmony with our mother earth rather than an end to all life here at the hands of humins..........

I too have been feeling this stuff, it started building a couple years ago... It's literally ripped and ripping my life apart at the seams... I have this unconrolable urge to do something, to get out of this system, I don't know, maybe join a convent or something. ;) Reassimilating into this society long ago ceased to be an option, but if I don't find a path "out" of here I might find myself starving soon enough... Well, maybe not, but things are getting hectic. Time to start a cult. lol. But seriously, how many of you are content to be sneeking around like little drugged out ninjas with the man always on you tail and this feeling of impending... something?

start pushing the envelope. use psychedelics for spiritual growth more, practice lucid dreaming, meditation, all that magick stuff. READ. You'll understand deep under the warm covers of ignorant reality where your higher self resides. You'll know what's right. Then, watch it bend.

keepaskingtime: heh, i know what you mean... push the envelope... watch it bend (lateralus)

this is what a friend and i figured out about the song, especially about these lines:

"as below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend."

I am especially interested with the last line. Because the more I think about it. The more I see it.
You know when you do not think you can do something, or someone tells you that something can not be done. But through your persistance your "push" you break the bounds of what was thought or what you thought could be done. And during your moment, your creation, you watched the universe "bend" to accomidate your dream coming true. I am sure that was the feeling all the great Scientists of our Age had during their discoveries that changed the way we live our lives. Even though it seemed so illogical and impossible "drawn outside the lines of reason". Forever after, the illogical will be logical. The illogical was our original view, our original misconception. Our own minds were the problem.
I am sure if I push these thoughts even further I will come to see that the entire universe exists in this manner. That the universe is controlled by how I think, and it is ready and willing to "bend" for me when I stop with my own ego games.........

all the light

very nice thread... its funny how often i find threads on here that i am just blown away by... we all seem to have such similar thoughts... and we all end up here... same goes with trip reports... no matter what the setting or the person, the trip goes back to something central that they all share... hard to work 9-5 when these thoughts are floating in your head... that is why i am currently un-employed and not looking too hard for another job... but i need the money so i gotta do something

The support pillars of civilization are begining to crumble under the weight of six billion people trying to live in a manner contrary to evolution and which is thusly unsustainable. It is not hard to feel the ground shifting beneath our feet, it's not hard to feel the distension in your belly when the floor drops out below you and all that remains is abyss. We're lurking because we don't have a cultural solution to /this/ problem. The only cultural solutions which is taught to us for this kind of situation is revolution, and far from making the problems at hand any better, a revolution right now would probably make them worse. It would just add another faction into a war which has no boundaries and was engineered to strike blindly. But it is probably inevitable. When people begin to feel the sting of opression where they lay dozing, the sting that most of us have been living with for years (so long that it has ceased to hurt and instead begun to itch), they will turn and slowly stand. The sleeping giant of the discomforted masses will arise and the whole world will be consumed. Those that will survive will likely be the ones most adept at slinking by upon the margins and within the shadows simply because they know how to be descrete and subsist. If your impulse is to do something, if you desire to make a difference, start with yourself. Understand what it is that you need to live a content life and begin eliminating the excess; reliance upon things for placation is inflexability - and this most definately includes drugs. By being able to convert yourself from a blind sheep to an insightful and prepared individual, you lead through action rather than words. I'm not advocating that you all go out and become survivalists or buy rations and equipment for the forthcoming apocolypse, I'm just saying that if you learn, if you understand exactly where we are and how we got here then your survival might insure that human beings never repeat the mistakes we've made here. And that is an important factor if things are to 'change'...that we must first acknowledge that we have made mistakes for only then can we be open to learning from them. You cannot fight your enemy if you cannot first adequately identify him - this is a lesson the United States is going to learn very soon. At the very least, keep your mind open...for a closed mind is one which will be concussed into confusion through disbelief if and when the world begins to shake.

A friend who was at ground-zero on september 11th told me that when he looked up at the towers coming down, he couldn't believe it. And he just stood there in his disbelief until it was almost too late. Expand your understanding of what /is/ possible and you won't fall victim to the same mental feedback loop. See the world for what is really there...not the illusions drugs or culture perscribe. If you can see, if you are not blind with your head in the clouds or the sand, then you can survive anything. Even if what eventually occurs is nothing at all.

Ish

I feel the exact same way. Both of my close friends also feel it. Although one has always felt it, it has been getting very stronger recently.
