What was the Ganoderma found on? Ganoderma tsugae is a close cousin and it is tough to decifer one from the other.
lucidum grows mainly on oak, tsugae grows mainly on pine. Most of the time, lucidum carries less white, more red and brown.
Do a www search for Ganoderma lucidum, you will be amazed at what you find

Oh yeah, I found it growing in the ground near a tree. I dont know what tree, But it was hidden under some plants too. Ill go back to the area tommorow and take pictures of its habitat. There isa still many more there.

The first one, with a light green spore print, is Chlorophyllum molybdites, a mushroom that causes more poisonings than any other single species. The symptoms are *very* unpleasant but very unlikely to be fatal. Victims often state that they wish they could die to end the unpleasantness.

The other is a Ganoderma, and the exact species primarily depends on what kind of wood it was growing from.

Happy mushrooming!
