What is to be gained from a hard trip?
    #4400109 - 07/13/05 04:41 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Is there really a conclusion reached on a high level trip? I experienced so many delusions that warrant nothing today I faced so many thoughts and so much pain yet still, what was the point?

I reached a point where I was watching people in a chat and somehow realized how odd communication was leading up to experienced a brief encounter with being one mind.

I also experienced a startling sense of being all alone, and creating the delusion of being seperate when there is no seperation. I was even convinced id triggered a schizophrenic break and would never return to reality. FOR WHAT?

Maybe im just trying to extract meaning from a meaningless yet beautiful experience. BTW it was Ps. Weilii

--------------------
I went to st thomas and camped out ontop of the island... Despite my entire family being poor all my life, the land is priceless.
I was chased by haitians in the main city charlotte amalie when my girlfriend and I got some cocaine for free in a bar and mixed it with alcohol, to form a stronger drug. With such confidence at 2am, we walked the 4-5 or so miles down to the beach where the african slaves lie like lions waiting on tourist prey.

The war isen't on drugs... the war is on the causes that influence people to abuse drugs. drug-abuse is a by-product of the system and much like radioactive waste occurs from utilizing nuclear power, drug addicts with drug-problems will need to be properly disposed of, like the decaying radioactive waste produced from nuclear energy. -i2ancid

when a good teacher slaps you in the face, just say thankyou.
this can happen a lot.
eventually, immersed in the river, you are the river, and the teachers kisses are very nice indeed.
first slaps then kisses.

the other way around would be too absurd.

Agreed, and nicely put.

What is the physical enviroment you have been dwelling into?  What are the surroundings you are in?

I would advise for meditational practice, how ever suits you...
For the clearence of thought and ego.

then you will be spoken too, kindly.  just take your search into consideration..."what do I want out of this experience" as apposed to "what do i pressume will happen" or "why isn't it working?  what am i getting out of this".

Its all about the physical and mental, combined with spiritual make-up, of yourself, for the time.

A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.

i think its all in the experience. it sounds like your trying to bring something concrete back with you. (the experience is nolonger enough?) if thats the case maybe you need more of a geographical trip and less drugs.

The times I've tripped really hard, I really seem to "imagine the possibilities" in tons of different contexts.

I've also realized that I'm way more creative than I had originally thought.

Of course what I do with realization of this creativity and range of various possibilities is yet to be done hence seen.

Its a shitload of thinking but little to no "doing," even though at the time it usually feels like I'm actually doing something

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

What is to be lost in a trip would be a better way of putting it IMO....
things like social conditioning, self-absorbed viewpoints, and seriousness.

I think what he is saying. Is that he began to see some of the social conditioning within himself. It doesn't just disappear. You have to work with it. This conditioning has been going on since birth for most. Deeply ingrained, so much that many don't ever see it, and believe that's all they are.

yeah, it would take a good bit of Thoreau-like abstinence from society to really destroy all your conditioning. I was simply saying it made you aware of it, with is a great catalyst for having control over your conditioning.

things like, what i find aesthetically pleasing, and why. That is definatly one of the big ones.
But like I said before, it doesnt neccesarily give you control over them, but atleast lets you recognize it.

sometimes while driving our car we are interested in eating a hot bowl of soup,
so we say playfully, "hey too bad there is this steering wheel here, how can I hold my soup and my spoon, if only there was no steering wheel".

without your conditioning, (all of your associations and your ability to make new ones) you don't get anywhere at all.

but probably what you mean is that you want to connect more fully with that immutable part of yourself, i.e. sacred union with "however you want to put that which cannot be named" etc. with the unconditioned creation/creator...
to share the glancing with this part of you that you know so well but are constantly becoming estranged from.

and that is an art to learn
maybe harder than driving
maybe easier in otherways.

just a glance away - this other this friend

Can it be conditioning to say my country right or wrong. And in the next breath say I believe in justice and I live in a free country?

a conditioned conflict, I see!

if you need ot hold court on the issue
listen to all the witnesses as well as the plaintif and defendant
withdraw to your inner chamber
then judge

if an appeal comes

What drug did you take that in your head made you think it was wise to always question everybody? You can't reveal anyone for who they really are when they are trying their best as we all are. Almost every response I read from you seems to be challnging someone's words. What makes you think that is the right thing to do? You think there is too much ignorance? I think there isn't enough.

Ah, when I bad tripped on acid once - like five hits - I felt my energy burning up and it felt like I was getting caught on everything and when I walked it was like I was stuck, and then my cats started following me around like they were glued to me, and when I got to my room I turned the fan on and the fan blade got stuck in my aura and stopped, and I took a shower to cool off and the water spun in circles, and I did tarot and the cards all spun out in a circle and the whole fucking delirious thing proved to me that our mind can effect matter. It took me quite a long time to get over it. I couldn't stand being close to fan blades for a long time after that. It was like being burned in hell. Quite the rotten time and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. But I learned alot about the power of the mind, which shaped my destiny and forced me to realize that we can shape things with mental energy alone.
