drying Mushrooms

I have 30gram fresh of Copelandia Cyanescens.
I want to dry them so i can crush them up and put them in gel caps.
I have began by putting them in a paper bag in the airing cupboard (linin cupboard for the U.S i think) I think they are drying pretty well i was wondering how long it will take and whether this i an effective method?
About putting them in capsules (gel caps) does it delay onset?

Capsules take awhile to set in, but the trip also lasts longer. The mushrooms should dry on top of a computer/TV monitor, but if you want an affective set-and-forget solution to drying mushrooms, look into getting a dehydrator. They work great, and you don't have to fuss w/ fans and desiccant.

just a tip but if your gonna be using gel caps make sure you wash them down with some good orange juice. the vitamin c helps your body retain more psilocybin and the acidity in general will help speed up the digestion of the caps.

I wouldnt bother with using gel caps unless you want to extract psilocybin so you can just take one pill and be set. If taking 30-50 pills seems better to you than eating some caps then maybe you should try LSD instead...

That's funny, I don't remember having to take 30-50 pills to trip hard. 5-7 pills at 0.5g apiece of quality ground cubensis seems to do the trick really, really well. Pill dosing is the way to go if you want to trip for 8 hours instead of 4. Eating whole really isn't a viable option for my friends and I, as we all gag at the taste of shrooms.

I have been drying these copelandia cyanescens for about 24 hours in the lining cupboard.
The stalks are hard and crunchy but the caps still to contain a little bit of moisture, do you think another 8 hours will dry them completely, so i can crush em up for gel caps. They weighed 30 gram fresh but they about 4 gram dry now. Are they ready?
