casing with jiffy mix?

is this a worthwhile casing method and what can i expect for a yield as opposed to cakes? 25-50% increase in yield perhaps? thanks for any and all help!

you are going to have to mix the jiffy mix 50/50 with vermiculite. jiffymix alone cant bare the weight of the fruitbodies, they fall over.
i use jiffy-mix all the time.
it works great for casings.

I thought jiffy mix was verm and peat moss? i'm probably mistaken and misread something.

I use straight Jiffy Mix plus. It is peat moss/verm/lime. I sterilize it in jars and case. Easier than buying all those ingredients separately.
