the xtc community http://www.bluelight.nu is down. i have heard from good sources that the reason is because a large number of U.S. BL's were arrested including mods. here in aus as well a couple of BL's were raided ... this happened last night ... still waiting for more information ...

Busted for what? Usually when a drug site goes down all kind of rumours abound.... So what good sources are these? Or is this just paranoia again

this is the email the mods got: " Hello, I had a brief conversation with xxx and he advised that the site in its current form should be taken down; awaiting further input I did this. This situation will surely hit the papers. The media will definitely be all over the place. Furthermore as has been suggested in the Perth debacle, considering the image of our site, any meetup post could be construed as a warrant. So in order to maintain a viable site, we will have to prioritize and rethink our strategy. For now the best thing I can come up with is, start a new HEAVILY moderated site with space for social talk, harm reduction, expression (music, words, art), philosophy. NO space for meetups and rave data and heavy crackdown on ANY discussion of what could be construed as criminal activity. But that has to be addressed. For now, we have to protect people against themselves so the sites are taken down. The site may or may not continue, the decision is not up to me, so don't ask... -- xxxx "

there was a big meetup among some of the 'elite' BLers (most of the mods) the other night, and it was busted. some 15-16 people were arrested, some of which were let go I believe. Currently they are taking all precautions, which included taking the website down, and banning all talk of the event in chat. I think the australian raids are rumors. but I do know this happened, I've been going through bullshit all day today cause my friend is a BLer who was at this event, and his mom has been calling all his friends asking if we knew where he was. so I did some research to find out any details. but there isn't that many yet. hope that helps.

I think that anyone from the shroomery that wants to meet should only meet longer time members who have established themselves. But this is common sense right? I bet since the strike bust there has been an increased interest in all the major internet drug sites.....and the shroomery is right there in the top three.
