Hunter Thompson
    #4397588 - 07/12/05 10:33 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

After Nixon's death in 1994, Thompson famously described him in Rolling Stone as a man who "could shake your hand and stab you in the back at the same time" and said "his casket [should] have been launched into one of those open-sewage canals that empty into the ocean just south of Los Angeles. He was a swine of a man and a jabbering dupe of a president." Returning the favor after Thompson's death, Henry Kissinger said, "Nixon didn't shoot himself like that unstable buffoon who could not even string a correct grammatical sentence together."

Re: Hunter Thompson [Re: HELLA_TIGHT]

Thompson debuted in Rolling Stone with an article describing his 1970 bid for sheriff of Pitkin County, Colorado on the "Freak Power" ticket. Thompson narrowly lost the election, although he ran on a platform promoting decriminalization of drugs and the sale thereof, tearing up the streets and turning them into bike paths, and renaming Aspen, Colorado to "Fat City", amongst other things. The incumbent Republican sheriff whom he ran against had a crew cut, prompting Thompson to shave his head bald and refer to his opposition as "my long-haired opponent."

I don't recall ever reading a Thompson sentence that wasn't grammatically correct...

"Hunter Thompson was working on WTC collapse story before mysterious sudden death, warned he'd be 'suicided'" and/or Childsex ring with US politicians.

OR he just decided to kill himself for no apparent reason (of which there are 2 different stories)

I might just bet on the former.

when you're watching television the higher brain regions (like the midbrain and the neo-cortex) are shut down, and most activity shifts to the lower brain regions (like the limbic system). The right hemisphere is twice as active as the left, a neurological anomaly. The crossover from left to right releases a surge of the body?s natural opiates: endorphins, which include beta-endorphins and enkephalins. Endorphins are structurally identical to opium and its derivatives (morphine, codeine, heroin, etc.).After just 30 seconds of watching television the brain begins to produce alpha waves, which indicates torpid (almost comatose) rates of activity.

Nixon's pretty high on the list of power-abusing presidents.

And Thompson ignored (willingly, knowingly) many grammatical conventions. All the time.

The Story Hunter S. Thompson was working on forwhich he was murdered.

The following documentary details how power people in the CIA, government and leading secret societies
within the United States; are running the largest pedophile ring in history.

This video was banned from telelvision days before it was to be aired on Discovery channel and in the UK.

All copies of this video were ordered destroyed. A few remained because its too incredible.

Someone needs to do something. NOW.

PS. Lawrence King (nickname Larry) has no relation to Larry King of CNN.

That's what the read-me with the file said....2 out of 5 star video quality.....but not a bad watch.
If anyone is interested in this PM and I can send it to you over the web...

Nixon was an idiot, and a melomaniac. Kissinger was an asshole who lacked any sort of human ethics.

It's sad that Thompson died, but the conspiracy theories I've heard have been ridiculous.
