COLINIZATION QUESTION

Would it be more beneficial to just drill a hole in the center of my 1pint jar and just innoculate 1 cc of spore prints so it colonizes from the center outwards?

or will doing it on all four sides be best?

Im not so sanitary so I like one hole cause there is a lower chance of contams. Then again I dont sterilize between innoculations and havent lost a jar to contams, but I have just lost some casings dont use ziplock tupperwares with the lid just foil(learned the hard way).

It doesn't make much of a difference in colonisation time. It just takes much longer before you see any actual signs of growth.
