First time growing: using mycobags
    #4396116 - 07/12/05 04:15 PM (12 years, 5 months ago)

This is going to be my first time growing, and I'm very paranoid about screwing up. I ordered mycobags, figuring it would be easier than building a terrarium. I just got them today, and read the growing information on MycoFactory.com, but I'm still uncertain about the conditions in which to grow. I got a spore syringe of cubensis b+ because of its versatile growing growing conditions. I'm not sure where to put the bags tho, after inoculating them, as my house is usually at a temp of 73-74 degrees. I guess what I'm looking for is advice on the best way to proceed with this and get the best results. I'd accept and apprecaite any help, thanks.

you should make an incubator...a Tub in Tub(TIT) works well.

the TIT will raise the temp to the optimal temp for colonization.

I like my TIT at 81 degrees F.

you want to colonize your mycobags at 81 to 84 degrees F.

so make an incubator...put your bags into it.

then start reading as much information as you possibly can.
