popcorn growth

i knocked up 12 half pint jars of popcorn on june 28th. I know quart jars are usually used but i didnt want to throw away all my jars. Well its been 14 days later and i only have one jar with significant growth or any growth that i can see. My brf took about a month to colonize and this project is taking much longer than expected. Although no contams, i would like it to go much faster. my jars are kept in a rubbermaid that is elevated a couple inches above a heat pad. Depending on the weather the temp ranges from 75-80. So my question is: do any of you reccomend using live mycelium in stead of spores (whats the best method on doing that), would wbs be worth trying, and is there any way to make my incubator better because i tried the tub in tub method and my heater broke. thankyou

id find a way to raise the temps in the tub man. Im pretty sure LC will speed up your growth, ive not done it personally (yet). A month to colonize PF jars?? Im on my first grow and its only taken me two weeks to colonize my jars....

i use popcorn with LC and it takes about a week i would say to colonize a pint jar.. never tried it with spores but spores take alot longer than LC.. i use a TiT for incubating temps stay at about 85 degrees..
