how long till birthday

hey everbody...
how long should i leave me jars after theyre 100%colonised... theyre all mostly done around the glass but im not sure how long it will take to penetrate into centre, im using drinknig glasses so diameter is 5-6 cms at most. theyre BRF and verm style, been about 2-3 weeks since innoc.

once they're 100% pop them in the casing (if thats what your going to do)

any longer in those jars and they are more susceptable to contaminants.

its my first time so i was going to just do cakes,... but maybe cakes is better?
so i dont have to give it any extra time to colonize right into the centre of the substrate before i knock it out?

When Im doing cakes I pop em out of the jars a little early.. sometimes even at like 75 % colonized.. just If I wanna initiate pinning real fast. I wouldn't really reccommend it cause It will greatly increase your chances of gettin contams... When Im casing tho.. I pop em out right when they get fully colonized...
