Pictures of my Kratom plant

Here's a few shots of my kratom plant. Before you all flood my PM box with requests for cuttings, I'm not ready to start selling/trading them yet. I want to have a few established cuttings of my own first. However, if anyone has any advice about making cuttings, what rooting powder to use, etc, feel free to post it here.

Looks like a very happy and healthy plant you have there
What conditions are you growing it under??

I've been having very good results growing it indoors near a window that receives plenty of light. I mist daily with a spray bottle and haven't felt a need to use a humidifier as the humidity is normally high in my part of the country.
The plant is Rifat strain about 27" tall. There's a pen in the first photo to help visualize the size. The plant has been growing quickly and will soon be too big for the window. Before long I will need to experiment with cuttings and artificial lighting unless it is strong enough to withstand conditions outside.

Do not use any rooting gel. Either put directly to water or directly to rockwool cube.

Someone sent me a cutting; he/she had cut half of the leaf tips off; I put in schultz violets potting soil, and put under a large clear plastic pitcher for humidity dome; it takes several weeks (3-6) to start rooting, but once it does, it takes off.
Keep it plenty moist.

suzie_girl, the reason for cutting most of the leaves off is because they would have dropped off anyway. That's standard procedure when rooting a cutting. You just want a few little leaves at the end. My 2 kratoms are about 4' tall with lots of branches and I'm taking cuttings now.
Frappy, I wouldn't worry about taking a cutting at this stage. You want your plant to grow fast and be healthy. By the looks of things, it's overdue to be repotted. They like a fairly large pot and don't let them dry out. I just look at the leaf color to decide when to fert. I use peter's 20-20-20 but there are lots of good ferts.

Yah I killed my kratom by too much ferts + not enough water. Ohps, that wouldn't happen know with my experience level.

Thanks for the info, all. So far I've had great results with Miracle Gro potting soil without using fertilizer. I suppose I'll keep doing what I'm doing for now and worry about cuttings at a later time. I'll see if i can find a bigger pot, but I'm afraid won't be long before it overgrows the small apartment. I wonder how long before it will be strong enough for the patio..
