Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could try something artistic on my next trip? The only thing I've ever really done is high shcool pottery. Should I just go out and buy a paint set?

Pencil crayons and a pad of paper would be cheaper and less technically demanding than paint. or just a regular pen/pencil.

I always thought this was kinda fun:
Get a large sheet of paper, the bigger the better. Buy some of those powdered paints..i can't remember what they are called, food colouring might also work. Anyway get a wet towel or something and wipe it over the paper until it is soaking wet. Then just throw some of that powdered paint on it....explosions of colour :)
Maybe not fine art, but fun anyway.

i did something artistic on my last acid trip, somewhat by accident however ...
I was tripping out on 3 1/2 hits of high quality cid, sitting in my loft with a friend, and for some odd reason, i held this giant black Sharpie in my hand for the entire trip ... during the peak, I turned to my little white fence on the side of the loft, took off the cap of the sharpie (with much trouble hehe) and proceeded to draw on my fence. The day after, I found out that I drew a shroom (quite a detailed one as well), vibrations (i would guess), and something I can't make out but most likely was quite amazing the night before. That trip was back in the end of February, and my pics are still on the fence in the loft good memories

don't bother buying a paint set or anything, i mean i find while tripping a ballpoint pen and notebook paper is just as amazing as paints and so forth.

Yeah, you don't really need anything special, don't even think about what you are going to do... just let it come to you. Chances are you will amaze yourself.

eating clay never killed anybody, just make sure its moistened first. its breathing that raw clay dust that gives you black lung.
