is there anything I can do

One of my casings is smelling like red wine is there anything I can do to save it? Also I have another one that I think is starting to smell also what should I do. I think the source of my problem was I was using ziplock tupperware there just wasnt enough air circulation. Any suggestions on what I should do?

That's fermenting substrate. You can hope and pray for fruit.

Next time when you are incubating your casings, make sure you poke small holes in the foil, or whatever you are covering them with.... never seal them airtight.... bad....bad....bad

should I throw them away I just threw them into the fridge to slow down fermentation The mycelium poking through to the surface looks happy. Should I tough it out and see if anything happens?

has anyone tried to fruit a fermenting casing? Will airborne bacteria make it to the rest of my casings?
